Work experience: Training of pilots, Alma-Ata.
Since 1987 - pilot, civil aviation. 1800 flight hrs. USSR Master of Sport (piloting and gymnastics).
October 1990 - started training at Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.
May 1991 - joined the cosmonaut group.
1993 - graduated from pilot’s school, Aktyubinsk, Kasakhstan.
July 1, 1994 - November 4, 1996 - first space flight at “Soyuz TM” and OS “MIR”. The mission (125 days 22 hrs 53 min) was developed to carry out Russian-Kazakhstan experiments. Two space walks (11 hrs 4 min). Cosmonaut of the 2nd category.
January 29, 1998 - second launch, crew commander of the 25th primary expedition to “MIR”. Now in space flight, made 5 space walks with total of 30 hrs 14 min.
